Newborn Caroline {Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo California Newborn Photographer}

I have to admit that I was a little worried about how Caroline would handle her newborn shoot, because due to some circumstances we had to push her shoot back a few weeks, making her three weeks old.  Ideally, I like to shoot within 6-10 days old (or under two weeks) because babies usually don't sleep as hard, they get much stronger, and things like colic or baby acne can start to pop up.  Thankfully, she was a little dreamboat and her age actually worked in her favor, giving her a body and face a fuller look.  I took her brother's newborn pictures a few years back, and they look so similar... and adorable!

Moschopoulos Family {Orange County, California CA Family Photographer}

We lucked out with an extremely gorgeous day for this photo shoot (in the middle of January, no less!) but the downside was that the entire California population also thought it was a gorgeous day, therefore infiltrating our beach with sunbathers!  Thankfully the Laguna coves and cliffs make it do-able :)  

This is one of my very favorite families to photograph, their kids are picture perfect.  The baby's skin tones were creamy, soft and luscious as a newborn and it's only gotten better!  I could stare at her all day!

I love how you can see the mom's reflection in her eyes! (may not be able to see it very well with this blog quality...)

This picture was a result of him running around in the surf with his big sister (picture above), and then getting taken down by the undertow.  Nothing that a little sucker (and my sweatshirt) can't fix!

Jackson @ One Year {Orange County, California Children's Photographer}

This is the most beautiful family, kinda like a photographer's dream!  We are so lucky to have gotten some rain in the last few weeks, because usually the nature areas around here aren't too pretty in January (especially with the drought we've been in).  I couldn't believe how vibrantly green the grasses were!  And Jackson did a number on his cake - towards the end of his feast, his hand was literally a paw of cake :)

Newborn Reagan {Newport Beach, CA Newborn Photographer}

I've been so bad at posting to my photography blog the past month - December really wipes me out!  I'm not sure I'll ever catch up with my December shoots on here, but what better way to pick back up than with a sweet little newborn girl?  Those never get old... I photographed big sister as a newborn two years back.  I probably stayed at this shoot an hour (maybe two) EXTRA just because Reagan was being so agreeable and I loved the company of the mom :)  It was also the first time that I got peed on all over my crotch, making it look like I peed my pants, haha.  I get peed (and pooped) on all the time, but this positioning was a first!
